Order Questions

How do I place an order?

Orders can be placed by viewing an item, selecting a size and then simply clicking on ‘add to basket’. Once you are happy with the items in your basket click on ‘proceed to checkout’ and follow the instructions to complete your order.

Do I have to register an account in order to place an order?

No. If you want you can place an order and go straight to the checkout as a ‘guest’. This means you do not have to register an account with us. However, if you decide to come back and shop with us we would recommend registering an account. This will save you having to enter in your details time after time and you can stay up to date with any offers & promotions.

I want to change my order, is this possible?

As long as the order has not been dispatched and you have contacted us with the changes we will endeavour to amend the order.

Can I cancel my order?

This will depend on the status of your order. Please contact us as soon as possible and we’ll see what we can do for you.

I need to change the delivery address of my order.

Again, this depends on the status of the order. Contact us with the relevant details and amendments and we’ll see what we can do.

I need to return an item for an exchange/refund.

Please refer to the 'Delivery & Returns' section.

How long will it take to refund me?

Please allow up to 14 working days for a refund/exchange to be processed from the date we receive your returned package.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept most major credit & debit cards. Payments can be made in confidence using our secure payment gateway.

Do you accept payments from PayPal?

Yes we do. Once you get to the payment options screen you can choose PayPal to pay for your order using your PayPal login details.

How secure are my personal details?

As we operate as an independent business we only hold on to details that enable us to process your order. We do not pass any of your details on to any third parties and all card transaction details are secured using our encrypted a secure SSL server. In other words, 8th Wonder Clothing takes the upmost measures to ensure all your personal details are safe and secure.

Here at 8th Wonder Clothing we make it our responsibility to reply to all queries within 1 working day. Sometimes there can be external factors outside our control that slow this process down.

Do you wholesale?

No. As we are a retail outlet we only sell directly to retail customers.

An item is showing the wrong price, what do I do?

Occasionally we do make mistakes. If you notice a mistake in pricing on the site please inform us and we will rectify it. We accept no responsibility for errors and omission and we reserve the right to alter the information and prices without prior notice.

An item I have seen is now out of stock. Will you be getting any more?

Unfortunately some items will be out of stock from time to time. This can be due to us being sold out or the item being discontinued altogether. Please feel free to contact us if you have a query on an item and we will try and see what the situation is and get back to you in quick time.

I need more information about a product.

We try to put as much detail on the item pages as we can, but if this is not enough or you want to ask us some questions then you can contact us and we will help the best we can.


Size measurements do vary from brand to brand but here is an approximate guide to the sizes stocked on the site:


Small (S) – 38” approx.

Medium (M) – 40” approx.

Large (L) – 44” approx.

Extra Large (XL) – 46” approx.

How do I know if an item will fit me?

All clothing items have measurements listed of all available sizes for a given product. Please use the guide above to estimate what size would be best suited for you.

What if it doesn’t fit when I receive the order?

Please refer to the ‘Delivery & Returns’ section. Normal procedure is to exchange the item for a better size.

Washing & Care

What temperature do you recommend I wash my item of clothing at in order to maintain it?

Everything has a life span, but in order to get the most out of your purchase we advise you to refer to the washing instructions on the inside of the garment. We do recommend anything with a printed design/motif to be turned inside out and washed at a cool temperature in order to keep the print/design in good order.

And what about ironing?

Again refer to the label on the inside of the garment to see whether the item should be ironed or not. For anything with a printed design/motif we advise that the item should be ironed inside out on a cool setting. If you iron over the print it will melt and it will be ruined so take care if you have to iron around a design.
